Number 2016. Can you say it English? 

Did you know that it's the year of the monkey in China?

By the way, what month is it now? What day of the week is it? And what time is it? 😀

But now let's get to the real business.

This Winter and Spring we will learn a huge amount of new and exciting things about the English language. We will try to speak, listen, read, write, create, understand, learn and remember as much as possible. And again you and I will do our best.

Now you will take a short look on some of the topics with Emma and see how much you know already. Listen, discuss the meaning with Emma and follow the instructions. There's no rush.

1) take your notebook and pencil (do you have everything with you? Who needs paper?)

2) open two blank pages ( = aukeama)

3) write the title "Winter and Spring of 2016"

4) draw ten squares that are about five centimetres tall and wide

5) give each square a title

6) the titles are the following

PLACES

SCHOOL SUBJECTS

LANGUAGES

VERBS

ADJECTIVES

ANIMALS

BODY PARTS

CLOTHES

FOODS

DRINKS

That's it.

Now write at least three words in English to each "box". You can write more, of course. Try first without any help. Friends, books and translators can help after some hard thinking.
